Many Americans remain plagued by serious credit card debt

According to a new survey, many American families are still affected by overwhelming credit card debt, although the number is decreasing, an April 10 article of KOMO News stated.

In the survey conducted by the National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC), it was revealed that one in three family members is having trouble paying the monthly credit card balance. Those individuals who fail to pay their monthly dues eventually struggle with their debt because of the accumulating monthly interest. To manage credit card debt, NFCC Vice President of Communications Bruce McClary suggests that people should faithfully pay their monthly credit card balance in full.
